Postgraduate Certificate in Neurodiversity

The Postgraduate Certificate in Neurodiversity at Arden University is an innovative neurodiversity affirmative course that recognises that Neurodiversity is an umbrella term. This is a term used to describe a group of brain-based differences that impact learning, behaviour, communication and regulation. The neurodivergent umbrella covers a wide range of neurological differences such as autism, ADHD and dyslexia. The programme takes the stance that due to the high prevalence of co-occurring neurodivergent conditions, adopting a holistic approach of learning about neurodiversity is more useful than learning about the conditions separately.

This provides a programme that aims to increase knowledge, awareness and application of working with neurodivergent individuals within the education sector, the workplace and the criminal justice system.

For more information about the course see our course flyer or to register on the programme log onto the course page

Neurodiversity Network Hub

A student and staff network for all neurodivergent and neurotypical members of Arden. Discover resources, events and support, plus updates on improvements to your student experience. We aim to increase knowledge, awareness and application of neurodivergent individuals within the education sector, workplace and criminal justice system.

Arden University’s mission is to be digital first, to remove barriers to education and to deliver on the ambitions of its students. These resources are an exciting step forward in ensuring that all our students have an equal opportunity to be successful in terms of gaining access into higher education, succeeding in their studies and progressing in their careers or further study.
